Evidence based birth® childbirth class

Why take childbirth education?

ADVOCACY

As a former high-risk labor nurse, I’ve seen how obstetric care is often shaped by outdated policies, provider preferences, and systems that don’t leave room for individualized support. Building advocacy skills through childbirth education equips you with the confidence and knowledge necessary to speak up for yourself and make informed decisions.

COMFORT

As a mother, I’ve felt how empowering it is to physically and mentally prepare for birth with intention. Taking a childbirth class that aligns with your goals and values doesn’t just build confidence for birth—it carries forward into parenthood, nurturing a grounded sense of self-trust and confidence.

EVIDENCE

In a world where so much online birth information is inaccurate, incomplete, or opinion-based—and where many hospital practices are 15-20 years behind current research—Evidence Based Birth® is committed to carefully curating the best available evidence and sharing it transparently, with balanced critiques and no agenda, so families can make their own informed choices.

EMPOWERMENT

Studies show that birth satisfaction is deeply influenced by how you’re treated, how involved you feel in decision-making, and whether your expectations are met. Give yourself and your baby the strongest foundation for a positive, empowering birth by taking the Evidence Based Birth® Childbirth Class. It’s a gift of confidence, knowledge, and support that will serve you for a lifetime.

NNBW Community Policies

Inclusivity

Evidence Based Birth® is committed to creating an inclusive environment for pregnant persons of any age, religion, race, sexual identity, gender identity, ability, or relationship status. Closed captions are provided for the hearing impaired, please contact your instructor to set up accommodations.

Gender Neutral Language

Evidence Based Birth® incorporates gender neutral language in the materials that we produce. We affirm and respect that some pregnant and birthing people do not gender identify as women and we strive to accurately reflect this diversity in the language that we use. We also acknowledge that many people giving birth do gender identify as women, and for this reason we have retained gender-specific language as well. We hope that you find our use of language to be both balanced and inclusive.

Zero Tolerance

We have zero tolerance policy for any racist comments or any comments that may make Black, Indigenous, and People of Color feel unwelcome, devalued, or attacked. Racist comments and "color blind" language will be blocked and the commentator banned. Speech denying the existence of health inequities or questioning the impact of racism on health outcomes will be deleted and/or racism will be deleted, and we reserve the right to ban any commentator.

Refund Policy

Your payment reserves a spot in the class and is non-refundable, but tickets are transferable with adequate notice and approval from the instructor.
